You know when your eyes water to a specific voice and only their music and harmonies can make you feel that specific way of transcending or shifting somewhere else, being calmed no matter what or feels something close to being hugged by your mother and its like its a feeling only her can create, sometimes without even getting what the lyrics are about but it utter astonishes u when you do, and it feels like no words can describe how wholeness their music makes you feel, and you look exaggerating while describing it when youre being real and you know for sure that you can never appreciate a music more in your life and for that you call them your favorite artist.. thats agnes obel for me

I wonder what kind of gear and effects pedals she used for the Familiar pitch bend here. This isn't their best work live for Stretch Your Eyes and Familiar, but I think this is their first try at it. Nevertheless, still good job 👍

"Familiar" came on my discovery station on apple music last week. I was intrigued by the vibe and the voice and then when she sang the line "our love is a ghost that the others can't see", I was nearly knocked to the floor. What an incredible and just gut-punching line.

Since becoming aware of Agnes and her fellow musicians (thanks BBC and Vigil) I have been blown away by the shear beauty of the music.
